PERSONALITY: The air Uta puts on to others is a friendly one, despite a somewhat frightening appearance. He's very light-hearted when he chats with others and when measuring for masks asks questions such as what sort of romantic interests his customers have as well as what hobbies they enjoy. He claims this is in order to help jolt his creativity when designing their order.
He provides advice to Kaneki about life as a ghoul and how it is for them, explaining the tight rope many must walk if they decide to get a job or enroll in school. He obviously enjoys a good prank, but claims he isn't the same troublemaker he was in his youth. He's very much a ghoul, though, and not the sort that avoids hunting live targets. He eats eyeballs in front of his customers and talks about his time as the leader of the 4th ward and the chaos that caused with a shrug, saying it's just because he was a teenager. But when he's a little creepy like this it feels harmless.
Uta does seem to show some genuine care for some fellow ghouls that may be hard to explain away no matter what's revealed later, though he isn't always obvious about it. This is seen even when he's with the other Clowns, as he takes a hit for another member of the crew.
But he doesn't care for the CCG and will gladly toy with them. He's tired of ghouls being killed, but more importantly he seeks enjoyment in fighting someone who can challenge him. He's hyper-focused on Renji and hated that he chose to follow Yoshimura. He doesn't like change. He only gave up causing chaos with the clowns in exchange for fighting him regularly again.
Overall, one could say that he's chaotic neutral, living his life the way he sees fit. That can potentially mean getting involved with more chaotic elements if he feels like it will make things more entertaining for him.
POWER:
GHOUL: Uta is a species of creature that looks human but must feed on humans to survive. He can't get any nutrients from eating human food, and doing so could actually weaken him. A ghoul can avoid feeding for a month or so without any negative effects (but that doesn't mean all of them choose to wait).
Kagune - Ghouls have a special organ that allows them to form additional limbs or growths depending on what type it is. Uta's is more like a tail, but he can grow as many as six of them.
Kakuja - A ghoul can also feed on their own kind, and by doing this enough they can form a sort of armor around themselves aside from what their kagune can do. The appearance varies by individual. Uta's makes him larger and can grow six additional arms, and he is capable of morphing his head into a three sectioned mouth with jaws, akin to that of a venus flytrap, which he can use to devour his enemies whole.
Agility - Uta doesn't have super speed, but he is capable of moving faster than most humans, allowing him to dodge many basic attacks with ease.
Regeneration - All ghouls can heal themselves fairly quickly from their injuries, especially if they feed. Uta seems to heal even faster than most, doing things like recovering from multiple knives to the face in a matter of moments.
Shapeshifting - He can change his appearance, most likely utilizing his kakuja, to mimic the appearance of others. This is generally limited to individuals around his size.
Clones - Uta has shown to be able to make duplicates of himself - at least one at a time. This may be done via his tails.
